I mean...I would prolly do it. We've had several guys respond to our station on Riding lawn mowers...I guess thats what you get when your station is in the middle of a residential area...

gotta pound them sick beats while cruising down the road with ZERO amber lighting...

Do these guys just not have any pride in their work that they post videos of their terrible wiring jobs, or does "It needs to be cleaned up" make it ok across the board...

I think "it needs to be cleaned up" makes it acceptable. I immediately noticed how the 6 surface mounts on the front of the bar were not evenly aligned and one or two of them are not even level lol.

his amber lights "are on order" lol wonder what GA lighting code is...

no mention of what the 2 antennas are for but i like how one is bent...

So I don't even know how to classify this jewel that was at harbor freight... If I hadn't of spotted the dashlight it would not qualify for here...

But...does it count as a whacker/screwed-up install if it's intentionally ridiculous? That one is so over-the-top it looks like someone was making a serious effort to make it a screwball truck.

i dont know the "owners" intentions.. LOL i didnt see her until after i took the pics, but the lady in the passenger side would have qualified for a "jazz dad post" in the ring... bwahahaha

Oh for a photo...

Well this thing passed me... And then pulled into Krystal's..KIMG0292.JPGKIMG0291.JPG

All the occupants were in the plus sized range... Poor impala...

I don't even know what to say, other than hope the insurance underwriter doesn't find these pics after the car fire lmao

A customer recently called to ask us if we could fit him into our schedule to have a look at his 2017 F350 Platnium... Last year, when he started plowing with the truck he bought some lights on line, and had a local amateur car stereo installer put the lights into his $75,000 pick up truck......I can see some of you shaking your heads in disgust already....fast forward to present day ... everything in the left side of his grill had stopped working..... below are the reasons why...... 4 hours later all lights were rewired with correct cable, heat shrunk, and soldered... After seeing this disaster in his vehicle, he has now asked us to rip out and install 6 new heads and re-do the rest of his truck.....at least for now, he has some functionality, and less likely chance his truck will catch fire during

Wow. Having been a FF in NY for 4 years this annoys me b/c it gives the rest of us a bad name. Everyone can agree that the NYS V&T Law is outdated (single blue beacon for VFD & single green beacon for VAS), so most guys just get a blue dash light and a pair (notice I referred to a singular pair, not 10 pairs) of blue grill lights, but this just looks idiotic and gives some of those “haters” out there a reason to give all other vollies a hard time. Being obnoxious and going way above “bending” the rules (ie making your own rules about which colors you can run) leads to generalizations that the rest are the same, and I’d be willing to bet my paycheck that this guy drives like an A$$ while going to calls (even though it’s only a courtesy light), so he probably makes even more enemies.

Not to mention, it’s pretty bad when you make Hatzolah POVs look simplistic (I don’t think I’ve ever seen dual stacked ILBs, let alone 2 ILBs wedged in between a roof lightbar and like 20 grill lights). I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a Long Island POV b/c they’re the most notorious for these types of installs; they’re basically the hatzolah of NYS VFD POVs. I didn’t think it was possibly to have more grill level lights than Morningside’s rescue
