Seriously? He puts a garbage bag or his propane grill cover over the license plate in the video, but takes a direct shot of the plate in the regular picture?

The owner didn't take the picture :duh:

Looking at some of his other videos, I'm worried lol.

That is an Impala push bumper with the sides. Honestly that install is better than 90% of all the ones in this thread.

this is here mainly for the whacktastic look. for a volunteer firefighter to put "Pursuit Vehicle" all over their car, a push bar, and all those lights, and then throw his badges and vest on the front seat, i can only imagine how many people shit themselves.. quite the whack. reason why i got rid of my charger hahah.

Well the pushbar could have came with the car at auction or whoever he bought it from.

Not to mention that in one of his videos he tells us all about how is old man is Fire Chief or something like that. I kind of want to go comment one of his videos and say something to the effect of "Hello, whacker!"

PS: Chargers are nice rides :)

Edit: I probably shouldn't be so harsh on the guy. I am sure he's a good FF and all and does his area a great service. Still, the car is a bit, erm, interesting.

Check out this video. Guy used electrical tape to mount his rear lightbar to the truck rack...???

I'm guessing he spent all of his money on the Liberty bar and all those other lights and could not afford to fab up a proper mount for the Strobes-n-More e46.

And what a whacktastic collection of warning lights on that pickup! I would think the Liberty, with all its lighting and functions, would be more than sufficient for a POV. :duh:

Hahahha what a dolt. Any NY cops that can get his info off his plate? If I could I would and then I'd report that shit to NYSP, his local pd, and local FD. The only undercover police work he'll be doing is from the back seat in handcuffs. What a tool.

Any officer in the country should be able to run NY plates, but I won't risk doing it and getting in trouble.

Just browsing around youtube and stumbled across this gem:
looks like overkill lighting to me... especially that bright blue rear bar - so bright it even reflects in the camera... i sure would not want that guy pullin in front of me on the highway while i'm 5km/h under the speed limit and turning on the rear lights...

I know...let's tint the tail lights on the vehicle that we are going to chase storms with. Nothing bad can come out of that. Idiot.

and seriously, an RJ45 cable in the mic port of an ICOM IC2100? it boggles the mind to think how dumb some of these whackers are.
What do you mean? The ICOM IC2100 among many other radios use the RJ45 connector for their mic port, very few (that I know of) still use the huge TRS plugs. RJ-45 and Cat 5+ cabling is great to use for a multitude of applications, and the radio industry knows it. The ICOM IC2100 as case in point uses #3 and #6 for voice out and voice in, which is good because those are a twisted pair (green wires). PTT switch (#4) and ground (#7) are not switched and are not a twisted pair (one wire on two different twisted pairs each), however. The other four pins are unused on this radio, but not necessarily on others.

He has a shitton of lights on there including a fully populated liberty, so his statement regarding his "few lights" and desire to purchase more alone constitutes the whacker, but I'd say this is probably the best recent vehicle in the thread. As for the white to the rear, it's two three lamp light heads mounted low to the ground, I think it's actually pretty well done.

I thought the whole point of a slide switch was so you didn't have to press 20 buttons to turn everything on. Seriously, he needs TWO switch boxes to handle the functions that should be on the slider? With everything he has, he needs a maximum of 5 switches total, 6 if he were to have one for 1 pair in the rear flash. And the electrical tape is just stupid, spend $20 on the right mount.

And what's with the red lights and no siren?

if you watch his other videos he says he is waiting for mounts for the snm light in one comment and he has an updated video with a galls streethunder siren installed

I recall the rear deck looking like a mess. e.g. Crooked. Is it even mounted right if at all? I don't want to watch the video again and/or listen to that ridiculous sound! If I'm right, you forgot that too.

I didn't even have to see it in the video to know that was a Dashlaser. Loud as sin. Owned one once, it sounded like that, promptly ditched it for a Firebeam. The only way I'd own another was if it's sole purpose were sitting pretty on my collection shelf.
