I've been to Chicago 3x. Twice to pick up someone from an airport and once because I won free concert tix (System of a Down in '02, did an overnighter/tourist thing, sears tower was cool).  Brought along my SW 686 .357 all 3 times (legally transported of course) and made it out with no superfluous holes.

If you talk to almost anyone that lives south of I-80 (or at least in my county), a lot would agree that we would like WI and IN to annex each half of Chit-cago into their state....no offense to anyone from WI or IN of course....

so my friend calls me,  he has spent hours on the car trying to figure out why it wouldnt start.... the back cat is clogged and wont allow the car to fire...

the back cat may not be there much longer...... "allegedly"

I wonder if Dave has made it to Chicago yet? I hope he can send updates sharing his adventures with us.

after gutting the back cat. the car runs normal and is too quite for my liking

It's been snowing off and on up there today.

Greetings from Oswego, Il!

We made it safely yesterday am; headed with the family to the Windy City later

Greetings from Oswego, Il!

In the 1960s, I spent many a Sunday in Oswego, IL. It had one of the three best dragstrips in the Midwest. I devoted most of my resources of the time to being there. It was an awesome time to be alive.

last time I was out here was about 8 years ago and its crazy to see how much the respective areas Im familiar with have exploded (Naperville,Plainfield and Oswego) . Il is ...more restrictive gun wise .... other wise Id give serious thought to moving here

Still missing email notifications somehow....good to see you're all 10-4 making it in.  I heard there were some icy roads up that way yesterday.

Ahhh. ELB working again. Woo hoo!

Retirement party for our chief tonight. 36yrs of service, 30 of those chief. That's a long time (especially for an all volunteer agency). He is also the current OEM deputy director so will be around if needed. Don't see that kind of dedication much these days.

i need the money for a 4200 mini....

busy weekend with work and parades.

i tired not to do to much yesterday as i needed sleep. (almost 13 hours) but had laundry and a squad meeting to do.

Looks like it would be especially bright as it is. Not sure what would be accomplished with the 120 unless there isn't any other 360 lighting in the vehicle rear, but even then it's a little high to be effective for side warning.

Invest the money in a better camera Nic, that picture looks like it was taken in the late 80s and scanned onto windows 95.

shooting from inside dark garage towards outside. Purposely didnt care as it wasnt important

Sure sure... But even Bigfoot and UFO photographers accidentally take better pictures

I'll get better pictures of the final product if I move forward with building another.

Personally I think 3x7 all the way across would look more uniform and less bulky. Im sure they put out enough light.

Cannons on the side would look like pimples at this point.

the reason we elected to do the 6x4 on the outside and 7x3 on the inside was so that the 3rd brake light was still visible.

We could do 7x3 all the way across however the two center ones will still be sitting below the outer ones.

I can't see a third brake light anyways.... Probably due to your fail picture :p

I am certain it could be done, even if you had to add an aftermarket TBL to the top of the unit.

third brake light is visible. just crappy picture. lol ok you win on that front.

I really wish they made them in dual color. I'd just do 6x4 all the way across with the two center having the brake pop
