Official "Whacker" or "Screwed Up Install" Thread

Look for Arcadia security in Las Vegas company promo video. They also have "ride alongs"

I'm half tempted to do a ride with these guys and get a first hand view (and maybe some video) of a DimWitte type in the wild...

I don't understand why you'd think whacker, in my industry based on what I saw they are the exception, most new security companies wish they were like this. I've only worked for 1 company who was somewhat like this, I wish I had the vehicles and money and accounts and more personell like them.

I agree the company "seems professional" but the idea of the thread is "law enforcement vehicles for non law enforcement use" etc...and I saw a few dozen in that parking lot..

OMG, this guy needs to be promoted to an F.B.I. Agent-Full Blown Idiot.......
If this is the first you're hearing of Metro-State, Google or youtube Jeremy DeWitte, and you're welcome.

Also, if you do go on youtube for him, I recommend the videos by realworldpolice or blue bacon.

I really don't understand how two worlds could be further apart on an issue. Michigan seems to be totally the opposite of Florida here. Why are funeral processions such an emergency in Florida???

Why do you need chase cars flying around the procession with sirens, or air horns as he's now allowed to use? Why do you need 10 guys to lock down the streets??? I would be annoyed if I were in some of the processions I've seen on video.

Here, we keep them solemn, quiet, no where to be quickly (literally) events. A lead car, and flags on all the cars in the procession. Maybe a police car waiting to shut down a busy intersection. People see this and respect it (with exception of an idiot or two).

Tell me why the urgency!?

Here it's a burden on the traffic, I did a funeral repast 2 weekends ago and the idiots running the escort went straight into the intersection against the lights blocking traffic, talk about idiots almost caused a wreck, no names on the vehicles but lights and sirens .

borderline..... only because the acronym is perfect for Whacker protection agency, and there are no "emergency" vehicles in the video. they do have cuffs and stuff, hope their certifications are up to date. there is such a thing as "professional" security. it is rare though, and mostly folks who have retired or moved on from military/corrections/LEO/Fireservice. i have worked with such companys (not to be named) in the past that were extremely professional security, mostly folks who deal with hospitals in the urban setting. not parking lot patrol. 0.02$

You'd think a "professional lighting company" would have an installer for their products...

While searching my local Craigslist, I find this unusual Ford Explorer. The ad is now gone but I snagged pics of it. I searched around and found another worse situation with a Raptor in CA. He recently removed the R/B. Not a single comment to discourage this type of activity. This takes whacker to another level. Dare I say beyond the Dewitt threshold.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Tahoe as reference compared to a Mesa, AZ roofing company. I actually saw it on the way to work and at a short distance, it looks like MCSO.

I lived out there many moons ago, and had a few LE friends because of the business I was in. One of my MCSO friends was issued a new black CVPI. At first I was surprised they ordered a black one and asked if it had been a mistake, but he just grinned, and I found out why two weeks later when he pulled into my driveway and it had black "ghost" graphics on it. First I had ever seen, I want to say summer of 2006 or 2007. Not long after that Mesa and Gilbert went to black and whites.
