The MST3K guys said the door came from a junk yard.

Could very well be.
And the deck amber light is backwards when Riggs is filmed driving.
oh well.. Hollywood. i'm not even sure LAPD ever got Fireballs..

This is probably what they had installed in their car :D

Those look like PA20As. Where I live I can remember a couple of ambulances running dual PA20As - one was a late 1960s model with the low-pitched tones and the other was a 1970s model with high-pitched tones. The low pitched wail and high-pitched yelp sounded kinda neat together.:)

Sugar land express has already been posted

Here is a video from "Starsky & Hutch". Has Fireballs and Flashball clips:
You can tell they are using diffrent cars. If you watch the first clip, the car has chrome rims. Fast forward to 4:33 and they are painted gray.

Had to, the way they were driven and destroyed !!

Besides, from a purely technical pov, a 12 or 14 hour long shooting day usually entails filming several episodes. So if a couple cars are made available for a particular schedule, they actually might end up visible over several episodes afterwards.
And as a consequence, consecutive scenes, although chronologically happening within minutes, may show a different car between, say, the moment they park up and enter the building, and ten minutes later when they come out from same building...

Saw this last night in a cheesy 1971 movie Dracula vs Frankenstein. An Amber - Red Visibar. I think the siren is a WG. Is suppose to be in Venice, California.

Is that a Sireno Condor lightbar (second to last picture, white caprice, red/blue lightbar)?
Tis so! I caught that too. Wonder where they pulled that from?

Wow, that show must have been a big hit.

"BJ & the Bear"
BJ and the Bear was a horrible show. I couldn't watch one episode all the way though.

"Movin' On" was much better. Claude Akins played the part of truck driver Sonny Pruitt.
