I verified the price and yep - $30.
I saw the oval body and expected plastic, but it's a TA836A aluminum halogen model. I'll keep the guts together and use the frame for a custom duo500 rear window bar connected to my CanTrol.
Given that I've seen prices of $75 just for a plastic housing without end caps it was well worth the little over an hour each way.
