Can a Whelen Liberty WeCan be used without the control point? The two wires that you take from the I/O board and connect to the WeCan module can they power a flash pattern?

No. Those are data leads. You must use a WeCan control point to convert your trigger commands to the bar.
Where can I buy one? I've searched Google, but eBay only comes up and there's only one listed, but I'm not going to buy one anytime soon.
