Whelen beta with Whelen microphone and standard preamplifier

my name is Stefan and I´m from Germany.


I´ve a question on the Whelen Beta series siren amplifier.


Is it possible to use any Whelen microphone with a standard preamplifier or do I have to use the Whelen preamp which is especially made for these siren?


Does anyone know technical specs about those microphones incl. the wiring. Are they all the same? Or does anyone know the part number for the micophones I could use?

Can anyone tell me what kind of rocker switch is used for the BETA1 control head?

I need two change a URBAN1 control head into a BETA1

Does anyone know whats the different between these control heads?

I can`t use the URBAN1 with a Beta 112R amplifier.
