Whelen ADA-48 Purchase

I recently picked up this older Whelen ADA-48 traffic advisor.

I eventually plan on cutting the frame into 3 (useable) pieces;
- 1 3-Head section for use over the rearview mirror (2 LIN6's on either side of a steady TIR6)
- 2 2-Head sections for use on the the rear deck. (TIR6's on the inner side, TIR6's on the inner side)

It'll probably be a while before I get around to doing any of that as I'm still figuring out what flasher would work best. I'll likely go with a handful of ULF44's to flash everything.

I'd look at a SmartLogic. With 8 outputs you could sync everything.
On the surface, a SmartLogic seems like a decend idea, though there's a few reasons why I likely won't use one in this application;
1) I'll likely have an additional 2-6 500's elsewhere on the push bumper, and some side-facing ones, bringing the amount of 500's to 10-14.
2) ULF44's offer sync capabilities between units, which would be handy for individual "zoning" of what flasher controls what. One just for rear, another for front perimeter lights, one for the visor and more perimeter lights, etc.
