I have a Unitrol 80k currently installed using a 3 position toggle switch to operate Wail-Off-Yelp.
I am about to move to a new vehicle, and will be relocating my warning lights/siren. I purchased a really cool wireless remote control box from Amazon for $20. It has four relay outputs, and two wireless remotes with 4 buttons. Each button controls one relay output.
I want to connect the LEDs to two of the outputs, and use the other two to control my siren. My question is, on the Unitrol 80k, what would happen if both the Wail and Yelp functions were to receive 12v at the same time? In other words, if i connect the Wail input to relay "C" and the Yelp input to relay "B", what would happen if they both energize at the same time?
Another way to ask is, on the Unitrol 80k. If instead of using a three position toggle switch to control the tones, what if you use two individual toggle switches. And turned them both on at the same time. Would it hurt the siren or anything?
