Thought I would start a thread on lights you had a chance at for a steal of a deal (or not) that you just missed securing.


Today was the first time I had one that I was really hoping to get. An Aerodynic with complete visibeam installed. $75 on Minneapolis Craigslist. I was too slow... Sold to the person who emailed just before me. DANGIT!

I've numerous Aerodynic Model 24C and CA's that were snagged from me like this.. Next runner up was the 24S variant.. but I solved that problem myself.. :)

Missed a NOS Rota-Beam RB10 first version Rota-Beam, because I wasn't willing to pay the guy's price. This would have been my first of that version. Kept thinking that I should have paid his price.....Since then, have added 2 of this version, and a very first RotO-Beam RB10, (Whelen's first automotive light)(notice the O in Roto vs the A in Rota), to my collection. All for less than the original guy wanted for the one.
 
My biggest miss was a Fast Trax in really good shape years ago, when I was running a CVPI, was black and combo strobe/ led. Would be hanging in my garage today if I would’ve bit the bullet and pulled the trigger on it. should’ve.
