Smart Siren 2000 Blinking

I have someone who came to me about a smart siren that was put in. For some reason when the car is in accessory mode the control head will have start blinking and act like its trying to turn on over and over again. When the car is on everything starts just fine. When it was being used on a run the other day it did the blinking and was stuck on airhorn after it was pressed.

Any ideas?

What model smart siren. This is a known issue with the ones designed specifically for the vision lightbar when the lightbar harness is not plugged in. Well known minus the airhorn issue. Check the connections, always a good place to start. From my experience the blinking has no negative effect on the workings of the light, just can be a bit annoying if it's in a very visible place. Hope this helps.

Its the standard ss2000 version, no sm or vision. Im going to try the connections first. I feel like its a voltage issue since the problem happens when the car is in the on position with the engine off (lower voltage than when running) also happened when responding so the draw of the relays and siren running may be taking more voltage and not keeping up.
