RX2700 different modules

My RX2700 lightbar has these modules:

instead of these modules:

Both are called Prism modules... and I'm assuming the first photo is of the older model and the second photo is the newer model, correct? Stupid question, but I should be able to swap them out with each other if I (for some reason) want to?

Theres also the model i have, that have the flasher circuit board in the back like the 6up optix as well as ledx optix

I believe the top photo shows a PRIZM module, while the bottom photo shows a PRIZM II module.
