OSP yankee

That's waaayyy too high. You can get a decent Yankee bar (non OSP) for $50-75, and $100 for a pristine one.

I'm curious though, do the OSP bars have anything different from a regular bar that would make them special or desireable?

I dont believe so..

this was one of them there old straw chewing tabacco spitting overall wearing guys..

did you know that them new lightbars that flash and dont spin cost $1,500.. so $200 is a fair price .. It even gots it self a speaker

The bars themselves were ordered stock. Installs would put a blue jewel light put in the back of the siren housing for the OSP hostage light.. The bars were sold off to many PDs (Including Columbus Police) who would change the passenger dome out for blue. Also OSP Yankee bars generally had a small solid copper antenna installed on top...

What he said. The hostage light was the only thing that made them unusual, and it was an unusual thing that I never heard of actually getting any use. Most of them had a generic driving/fog light bolted on the passenger side as a takedown light. IOW, when you include the antenna mounts, they put as many extra holes in them as possible, to allow for maximum water and dirt ingress.

Unless it is NOS, $200 is forcible sodomy.

If you want a fixer upper Yankee with red domes, I have one collecting dust in my storage building. The rotators don't spin, so I had planned to replace them with open reflector halogens when I got it several years ago but never did. I also have extra internal parts and several domes for a Yankee. I would let the bar go real cheap, so PM me if interested, thanks.
