I have installed this type of switch controller into a vehicle. Now i used this unit for several years and worked great. Now i have reused it in another vehicle and we seem to be having an issue.
The slide switch (pursuit switch). This is hooked up with a relay pack. It controls power to a T/A, Lightbar and grill lights. The current issue is, when the driver gets into the vehicle to start it, the switch box does its normal start up, but sometimes the slide switch indicator light (one of the positions) is lit and one of the warning lights turns on. All wiring is good, we did have an issue with the connection at the ignition source, but that was corrected.
Any ideas on a possible cause or should we be looking at a new box.
