FS Valor capabilities using only interface box

Good morn. We are building a Tahoe soon and have already procured a new trio Valor bar. I’ve been told by more than one upfitter I’ve discussed the build with that’s it’s not possible to activate most of the features of the bar without a SmartSiren system. However, the FS sales rep assured me that’s untrue. Trying to get a straight answer in this as it would obviously affect which siren system is ordered. The bar would need to do normal mode 2-3 stuff, rear alternating flash, signal master in amber, flood and alley, and cruise modes.

The upfitter is lying and the sales rep is correct. I have one in my collection and I can run it as described with just the interface.

Shocker. One upfitter is a SoundOff dealer and the other Whelen. Tired of being lied to. Upfitters used to do nice custom work and stood behind it regardless of equipment manufacturer

I don't remember exactly... But there were a few features that my CID wouldn't do for my Valor that a SSP 2K/3K could... I think "Full Cruise" was one of them... I don't remember if my CID did regular Cruise mode or not...
