I’m at a total loss.

I just started my own business after years of working for other companies (roadside service).

I am working on putting in a simple light stick in the rear window. In comes the Feniex 600 bar.

I was told I didn’t need the converter for this unless I was planning on adding more light features and wanted easy ability to change patterns/colors. I do not as I watched a demo video of this bar and found one of the stock cycles totally adequate. Set it and forget it.

Per Feniex and Ultra Bright Lights, all I have to do is connect it to the battery and it’ll power right on. However it is not doing that. I have put in a 15A fuse per the instructions and connect it up. The fuse blows every single time. No power. No lights.

I have a roof top light bar and chase lights connected. They work just fine. This stick doesn’t want to.

Am I missing something? Appreciate any advice you can provide. Thank you.

I have a 800 light stick and it only had the 4 wires coming from the light and it needed a converter to make it work. I connected the black wires from the converter and the light bar together to a ground wire that was attached to my vehicle and repeated the same process for the red wires to a positive 20amp switch. I connected the green and white wires from the converter (data wire A and B) to the green and white wires on light bar. I then picked the mode wire on the converter I wanted and connected that to power as well.
