Hello everyone! I was hoping someone more knowledgeable than I could help by sharing a brief overview of the Beacon Ray series. I've been trying to figure out what the different model numbers for the Beacon Ray series means. There's the Model 17, 173, 174, 175, 176, the "hill light", the "super" beacon ray, ones with clear domes, ones with colored domes, and ones with either plastic or glass domes... I've tried to glean a few things from researching, but haven't been quite able to fill in all the gaps. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi! Thanks. I did see this, although I was looking for more of their physical/operational differences, rather than serial number dates.

17 - 2 bulb rotating
173 - 3 bulb rotating
174 - 4 bulb oscillating Super beacon ray
175 - 4 bulb hill light (one beam angled up opposing angled down) rotating
176 - 4 bulb rotating

Thank you so much for that breakdown!!

Does anyone have any idea which came with glass domes, and which with plastic? Or was it just whatever combination the customer ordered?
