What's the best way to ground a Code 3 MX 7000 lightbar. I've got one end grounded to the vehicle, where within the lightbar is the best place/area? Thanks

Anywhere on metal frame; it has multiple channels in its extrusiong for you to tie in a ground bolt

The grounding cable in your control cable SHOULD be connected to the extruded aluminum frame that the bar is built on.
Technically, if you are using the metal roof hook/straps, and they are properly screwed into the door jamb, it is already grounded. This will work, but it is not best practice. My MX was grounded to my steel havis console's grounding point, while my Excal had a shorter ground wire, that is grounded to a seat bolt. My 2100 on my Yukon is grounded to the bonding point on my VCON.

What Doyle257 said is correct..
However I would recommend grounding to an unpainted surface..
Or just running the ground straight back to the battery itself.

never run a cable all the way back to the battery... thats alot of added resistance...

unless its one of those whelen bars that specifies too.

100% agreed, unless you are running your cable down the windshield, and are willing to cut your jacketing back that far to get the ground cable out and to the battery
