Hi all,

I have been having a hard time finding any manufacturer/model information on this fixture. Perhaps my search criteria aren't helpful on google. I figured I'd poll the experts and see if anyone recognizes this type of fixture. I believe it has rotating halogens inside.

Thanks for all your help!

The light fixture in your image is a Federal Signal Stratos (also known as the Model 8200 series) beacon.

These were iconic "high-profile" warning lights commonly found on the front grilles or cabs of fire apparatus from the late 1980s through the 2000s.

Your intuition about the internals is correct, the Stratos was famous for housing two rotating halogen reflectors (rotators) behind its distinctively large, blocky lenses.

@tsquale is right, I am not familiar with the Fed Stratos line.. was this a European thing?
The rotators in the picture if you squint enough are whelen.

Your A.I. sourced answer is 100% false. The Federal Signal 8200 model is a signal master. Good grief man
