Much in tune with the best of/worst of threads in the other sections here is a thread for the best response videos.

Post videos here that display great equipment, cool cars, awesome driving or in general show good standards and professional EVOC trained responders.

The video can be of any emergency service and from any country.

1 Video per post please, to avoid clutter and endless quotations.

To start;

Good equipment variety and some nice vehicles

Is this thread supposed to be about safety or just cool rigs responding?

Because if it's about safety, I am seeing some dismal failures. :duh:

A propert escort job done with the bikes leap frogging the junctions, all in the name of an excercise!

That truely is a proper escort. But were those whistles they were using? Or some kind of strange siren that sounds like a whistle? I'm just trying to figure out the logistics of blowing a whistle with a motorcycle helmet on... Also, love the roll-off Fire units over there. Gives so much versitility with just one truck.

According to the comments this is about a 9 mile Code 3 response. This is one of the longest police ride-along code 3 response videos I have found on youtube.

Long multi-agency pursuit, some bright LED lightbars !! Enjoy, ;)

They are whistles and the use I understand is twofold 1) to stop annoying everyone and to give it a lower profile and 2) people are so use to sirens that they will pay more attention to a whistle which you don't hear on the road. I always thought they were electronic but apparently they are just regular whistles wedged into a "No.4 Guedel OP airway" (which probably means more for medical people than it does for me) so they protrude out of the bottom of the helmet. Can't see that being that comfortable???

And yes the New Dimension Prime Movers (trucks with alternating pods) is by all accounts one of the rare pieces of equipment provided nationally by central government that was actually useful and served a purpose, the downside is they are national assets but the staff provided by local fire agencies, you could be deployed anywhere in the country at the answer of the phone.

No "best response' video thread can ever be complete with the addition of "The Liver Run".

Police deliver a donor liver to a patient driving from Stansted Airport, Essex to Cromwell Hospital, Kensington, London on 8th May 1987.

The line between bias and truth is not a fine one. Get rid of the split fail and slow the rotators down is all I've got to say.

Here's a good one that actually highlights good driving and NOT blinky lights.

I have to agree, one of the best responses I personally have ever seen. Not sure where they were going, from the way they acted at the end couldn't tell if they were responding to a call or transporting to the hospital. Either way, great response, no excessive speeding, stopped at every red light which was great at the one intersection where nobody stopped(great spot for that box truck to stop), kept the sirens on the whole time, and didn't ride anyone's bumper.

At first I thought the driver broke that intersection without a siren on, then I realized I didn't have my volume turned up. I agree, good driving.
