STL vs UBL

I've used STL controller before and just like anything, you get what you pay for. That being said, they feel cheap however they do work decently well. Mine lasted for about 3-4 months however before buttons were sticking, etc. I've found that any UBL product is pretty much the same as Feniex that they just rebuild to look cheaper, but have never used them.

With saying that, the controller UBL is offering seems over priced when there is better options you could get for 40-50 dollars more.

If you have to have new, for not that much more money:

SoundOff Signal 800 Series - $127

Brooking Industries Model 830 - $136

UBL also sells Feniex 4200 Minis for $120

What are you trying to do with your control point? Knowing that we might be able to offer more focused input. :)

If you really need more than six outputs and those are your two options, id go with the SpeedTech. I'm not saying they did... but I'd be willing to bet feniex designed the STL one for them. (No that does not make speed tech and Feniex the same company, most companies do paid design and manufacturing work for others. Carson does a bunch of sirens for other companies)

If you can get away with 6 outputs... I really would just roll with the 4200 mini.

Yeah those listed by Tango7 are the mains ones I was thinking of when stating better for a little price increase. I mainly like being able to not have all those wires hanging out the back however.
