Offering up my very nice Aerodynic 24MEAH. I purchased this bar used five years ago (some of you may remember me coming here for help) and completely went through it at that time as I built/restored it for a 1987 Plymouth Gran Fury police car restoration I was working on. At that time, the following was done:
Bar was thoroughly cleaned, gently lubricated
New FS thermal alternating flasher
New GE par bulbs and halogen rotator bulbs installed as needed
Brand new domes direct from Federal Signal
Grille buff cut and polished
NOS "Aerodynic" tags on each end
Stainless mounting feet and brackets/hardware (believe got them from someone here)
New 100 watt speaker installed
The lightbar works 100%, all functions lights and rotators work and the inside is exceptionally clean. No I am not removing the domes just to take pictures. If you look at the pictures you can see how clean the inside is through the domes. The cable is now about 3 feet long after being removed from said police car. It runs nice and quiet. Since I restored the bar, it has never seen rain, excessive sun or elements as the car has only been driven about 1000 miles in fair weather at all times during these past 5 years. There is light wear on the domes just from hand washing the car.
I can text video to any interested party. I never anticipated getting rid of this but due to completely unforeseen circumstances, I unmarked the car and stripped the bar off. I hate to sell it as it was a point of pride (and major expense) for me, but I can use the money for a new project.
This bar would make an exceptional example for anyone restoring a mid-to-late 80's M-body NYSP car or other NY state agency as it's all red (excluding the alleys and takedowns).
Asking $975 plus any applicable shipping. Located in Central New York State. I would rather NOT ship it because costs will be astronomical and that's when damage happens, but if the buyer agrees to pay the actual costs, I will bring this to my local UPS store and have them package it securely with insurance and ship it CONUS. You will pay the entire bill.
