Not sure if it's a site or browser issue (although I don't have this problem anywhere but here) but it seems like for whatever reason as I try to scroll from the op's post to the replies below it, my browser hangs up on the ads inbetween. Trying to scroll seems to make it worse, so waiting a few seconds usually lets me continue on, sometimes it hangs for a very long time, and a few times I've had to close the browser completely and try again. This happens on my phone, a Samsung S21 Ultra using Chrome, and with the os and all apps up to date...
