This is my 2nd prototype for a Siren Motor cover using a 3D Printer. It actually came out pretty nice. It's a little narrower than I want, but this is the prototype. I used a basic cad program that is quick so I could work out details. It doesn't do round on cones and only allowed 24 sides vs the 50 needed to get a perfectly round surface like the front edge is. Now I will move to my pro CAD and do the redesign now that I know it will work. I can also get a metallic plastic to look more chrome like. Or I just may paint it. Not sure. The cut out for the base was right on the money. Comments, pro- con are appreciated. It finished with an 11.5 hour print.
